Most of our users have never used a health kiosk before and will use ours exactly once. There is no onboarding, no tutorial and no second chance - the screen has to explain itself.
Why it is hard
You are designing for a standing user, in bright light, possibly with a queue behind them, across a dozen languages and a wide range of literacy. Every extra tap is a real cost.
What you will do
Own the on-kiosk experience end to end, from idle screen to printed report
Test with real users at real sites, not in a meeting room
Design the report itself - for patients and for the doctors reading it
Keep the design system honest across kiosk, portal and web
What we are looking for
A portfolio with at least one product used by non-technical people at scale
Fluent in Figma and comfortable prototyping interaction, not just screens
Can argue for a decision with evidence and change your mind with better evidence
Bonus: accessibility, multilingual interfaces, or healthcare
